This week’s #1 position goes to The LEGO Story to celebrate its 80th birthday – take a look back at its history with this short animated film.

The #2 is Adidas – Team GB: Don’t Stop Me Now with UK Olympic medalists celebrating the success of London 2012. And Lady Gaga: “FAME” – The Fragrance Trailer closes this week’s top 3 with a new perfume trailer.
 
1. The LEGO Story
This month LEGO, the famous Danish toymaker, is celebrating their 80th birthday. To let this not go pass unnoticed LEGO made a nice animated video showing its history from the years 1932 to 1968. It truly is one of the most successful and beloved toy brand. By the way do you know what the name “LEGO”  means? It comes from the two Danish words “leg” and “godt”, which translates to “play well”. 2. Adidas – Team GB: Don’t Stop Me Now
In the spirit of great internet viral practices Team GB, together with Adidas, made a funny video covering Queens ‘Don’t stop me now’. Medalists aparently also are good at lipsinking, playing musical instruments (inclusing blowup air-guitars) and just having fun. Overseen by David Beckham himself the athletes perform a great show. Already viewed more than 1.4 million times in just 5 days, great performance equals great viral.
 
3. Lady Gaga: “FAME” – The Fragrance Trailer
A dance beat serve as the soundtrack to Lady Gaga‘s eye-catching trailer for her Fame fragrance, which hits stores in September. In the Steven Klein-directed spot, Gaga wears latex — and in some cases nothing.  When she isn’t completely drenched in the oily black liquid, she’s standing alongside her army, embracing with one or two of them. As the trailer comes to a close, little men are seen climbing a fully nude Mother Monster wearing a black mask, strategically placed to cover her more scandalous parts. In addition to the trailer, Gaga previously released a short film called “Formulation” to get fans hyped about the release. The singer is also featured in a print ad wearing an S&M latex bodysuit. Little Monsters should also look forward to the release of her ARTPOP album. She announced the title just this month and the album is expected to drop in early 2013. The trailer achieved in 3 days more than 700,000 views.
 
4. Centraal Beheer Achmea – Speedboot
For many years the Dutch insurance company Centraal Beheer Achmea surprises us with new hilarious commercials every time. And this summer they did it again! In this video a young wealthy guy tries to impress a cute blond girl on his speed boat. After showing her some of his steering tricks, he asked the girl if she wants to hit the steering wheel. She takes her opportunity to be a captain for once, but the guy also takes his opportunity to hit on her. And that’s the moment where everything went flying wrong. This video is again a great success with almost 500,000 views in one week.
 
5. The Ballerina Stunt By Volvo Trucks
Stunts promoting brands are becoming popular, here’s the latest one by Volvo, to promote their new line of trucks. The stunt took place on an unopened highway in Croatia, performed by world record-holding highliner Faith Dickey on a line between two speeding trucks. Did she make it before the trucks reach the tunnel that lies behind the next bend? The stunt was set up to show the precise handling of the new Volvo FH and was created in cooperation with Hollywood stunt director Peter Pedrero (James Bond, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean) and directed by Academy Award nominee Henry Alex Rubin. The stunt video got a stunning 430,000 views in just two days!s. The purpose of it – to promote the new outfit for the upcoming football season. How? See for yourself!
