群邑香港宣布两项重要任命,持续推进数字化能力建设

Hong Kong, January 13th, 2021 – GroupM, WPP’s media investment arm, has announced key appointments to fortify its digital and technology force. Caroline Chan, the new CEO of GroupM Hong Kong who assumed office on January 1, 2021, has named Kenny Ip as Head of Investment and Fergus Chan as E-Commerce Director.
2021年1月13日,香港–WPP旗下媒介投资集团群邑(GroupM)今日宣布了两项重要任命,以继续加强其数字和技术能力。 群邑香港新任首席执行官Caroline Chan(2021年1月1日就任)宣布任命Kenny Ip为媒介投资部门负责人;Fergus Chan为电子商务总监。
 
With reference to the COVID-19 pandemic severely distracting almost all industries around the world, Caroline believes that businesses should keep up with the rapid and dynamic changes by innovating marketing strategies to triumphantly withstand all threats and challenges. 
新冠疫情给全球几乎所有行业造成了影响,Caroline相信企业应该紧跟快速的动态变化,不断创新营销战略,以成功应对各类威胁和挑战。
Kenny Ip brings with his 15 years of solid experience in the field of marketing and advertising from Oracle HK, one of the world’s largest enterprise software company; DaVinci11, a leading advertising technology company; and other esteemed media suppliers. Kenny will be leveraging his proven sales experiences on traditional media, digital and technology to lead the investment team in maximizing values to the clients. 
Kenny Ip在市场营销和广告领域拥有15年的丰富经验,曾就职于甲骨文香港(全球最大的企业级软件公司之一) 、DaVinci11(一家广告技术公司),以及知名的媒体平台。Kenny将运用其在传统媒体、数字和技术领域的丰富销售经验,带领群邑香港办公室的媒介投资团队为客户创造最大价值。

Fergus Chan commands a decades’ experience handling client and consultancy agencies in e-commerce, especially in online retailing in the Hong Kong, Mainland China and Asia Pacific region. With his up-to-date experience on key e-commerce platforms and solutions, Fergus is in the role to lead clients’ eCommerce transformation and accelerate the performance in achieving new business growth and success. 
Fergus Chan拥有十年在品牌方和咨询公司从事电商工作的经验,是中国香港、中国大陆乃至亚太地区线上零售领域的专家。基于他在主要电商平台和电商解决方案方面积累的丰厚经验,Fergus将负责引领群邑香港客户的电子商务转型,加快实现新业务增长和商业成功。

These roles are strategically important for GroupM Hong Kong in the Digital Transformation journey amid the post-pandemic “new normal”. Caroline further emphasized that, “Working with our passionate people and incredible clients, our focus will be to inspire more outstanding works using data and technology, as well as enhance synergy with both regional and global teams to explore potential major opportunities, all united in vision to be responsible for the next era of media where advertising works better for people.”
